What does this storage estimate include?
Data-at-rest only — the monthly cost of storing your data at the chosen tier and redundancy. It does not include read/write transactions, data retrieval or egress bandwidth, or early-deletion charges (Cool has a 30-day minimum, Archive 180 days).
How is Hot tier priced as storage grows?
Hot blob storage is priced in graduated tiers: the first 50 TB, the next 450 TB, then beyond 500 TB each carry a lower per-GB rate. The calculator applies each band automatically. Cool and Archive are a single flat per-GB rate.
Does this estimate include GST?
No. Figures are Microsoft's retail storage rates only. GST and any account-specific discounts are applied separately on your actual invoice.
