About AzureCostIndia.com

An independent tool for one narrow, useful job: telling Indian teams what Azure actually costs, in rupees, without the USD-first guesswork.

Why this exists

Microsoft's official pricing calculator is excellent, but it defaults to US dollars and a global mindset. If you're budgeting a workload for Central, South or West India and need a number your finance team will accept, you end up doing currency math and second-guessing which region's rate applies. This site removes that step: pick a SKU and a region, get a real ₹/month figure.

Where the numbers come from

Every price here is pulled from Microsoft's public Azure Retail Prices API, filtered to the three India regions and priced directly in Indian Rupees. The data is refreshed on a weekly schedule and the last sync date is shown on every estimate. Calculations run in your browser against that cached data — the tool never calls Microsoft's API while you're using it, so pages stay fast and don't depend on API uptime.

These are Microsoft's retail rates. They don't include GST, Enterprise Agreement or CSP discounts, or any account-specific pricing — so treat every figure as a well-sourced estimate, not a quote. See the pricing disclaimer for the full detail.

Who builds it

It's built and maintained by a solo Azure & .NET architect with 20 years of experience designing and costing cloud workloads. The tool is free and needs no signup. If you want a specific setup reviewed — right-sizing, the reserved-instance call, a report your budget owner will trust — that's the one paid thing on offer: a fixed-scope architecture & cost review.
