Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AzureCostIndia.com ("we", "the site") collects, why, and what choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a free pricing tool.

Information you give us

• Your email address, when you submit it to the newsletter signup, the "email me this estimate" form, or the consulting inquiry form.
• An estimate summary that you choose to email yourself — the SKUs, region and figures from the estimate you built.
• Anything you type into the consulting message field, and the page you submitted from.

We do not run user accounts, and we never ask for passwords, payment card details, or government IDs.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used. It sets cookies and processes data such as a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. This is aggregate usage measurement, not identification of you personally.
• Advertising. We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request logs (IP, timestamp, user agent) for security and reliability.

Your light/dark theme choice is handled in the browser for the current session only and is not stored on our servers.

How we use it

• To send you what you asked for (the estimate email, new-tool announcements) and to reply to consulting inquiries.
• To understand and improve how the tools are used.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send unrelated marketing.

Third parties

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site: our hosting provider, Google (Analytics and, where shown, AdSense), and the email delivery mechanism used to send your estimate. Azure prices are sourced from Microsoft's public API; no personal data is sent to Microsoft in that process.

Retention

We keep lead emails and inquiry details for as long as needed to follow up and to run the newsletter, and remove them on request. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access or delete the personal data you've submitted, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To make a request, use the form on the consulting page and mention "privacy request". Depending on where you live (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have additional rights over your data.

Children

This site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be noted on this page.
